Pentecost 2026
On the Move

Join many across the country during Pentecost week in prayer and action.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.”

Acts 1:8 NIV

About this initiative

The Spirit of God and the people of God are on the move.

At Pentecost, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit given to God’s people. We remember that from the beginning, God’s Spirit has always been moving, and God’s people have always been on the move. We are recipients of that same Spirit, who empowers us to be faithful witnesses today. Many of our immigrant family in Christ understand deeply what it means to journey in faith, relying on the Spirit’s guidance and provision.

During this Pentecost season, we invite you to join us in listening to the stories and wisdom of impacted immigrant communities and local advocates. We will be releasing a variety of resources for Pentecost, including devotionals, public action templates, a list of local events, and virtual connection opportunities. Join us as we pray, gather, listen, and advocate this Pentecost.

A vision for the Church

As we listen, may the Spirit move us, the multiethnic, multicultural, and multinational Church, toward faithful action so that all our neighbors may flourish.

Revelation 7:9 · Ephesians 2:14–19
