{"id":303,"date":"2026-04-01T23:35:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T04:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithfulwitness.local\/resources\/gods-household-prayer\/"},"modified":"2026-04-03T20:58:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T01:58:39","slug":"gods-household-prayer","status":"publish","type":"fw_resource","link":"https:\/\/faithfulwitness.us\/vi\/resources\/gods-household-prayer\/","title":{"rendered":"God&#8217;s Household: Prayer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Gospel Prayer for God\u2019s Household<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"fw-rce-scripture\"><p class=\"fw-rce-scripture__text\">&#8220;For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility&#8221; <\/p><p class=\"fw-rce-scripture__ref\">Ephesians 2:14<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Holy and righteous God, <br \/>We come before You in humility, <br \/>confessing that apart from Christ, <br \/>we are lost, divided, and in need of Your mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Word declares that Jesus Himself is our peace\u2014 <br \/>that through the cross, <br \/>You have made the two one <br \/>and destroyed the dividing wall of hostility. <br \/>We believe this gospel. <br \/>We submit ourselves to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Jesus, <br \/>You did not avoid our broken world\u2014 <br \/>You entered it. <br \/>You took on flesh, <br \/>You bore our sin, <br \/>and You shed Your blood <br \/>to reconcile us to God <br \/>and to one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forgive us, Father, <br \/>for the ways we have allowed fear to shape our witness, <br \/>for the ways we have trusted human power more than Your kingdom, <br \/>for the ways we have failed to love our neighbor <br \/>as You have loved us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Your Spirit, <br \/>bring us again to repentance\u2014 <br \/>not shallow sorrow, <br \/>but true turning of heart and life. <br \/>Form us into a people who live under the lordship of Christ <br \/>and the authority of Your Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We pray for immigrant families and those seeking refuge: <br \/>may they know Your protection and care. <br \/>We pray for children and parents walking in uncertainty: <br \/>be their hope and their help.
